Using mesoestetic's mesopeel® range of advanced peels, a skin peel (aka chemical peel) is a procedure in which a chemical exfoliant (usually an acid) is applied to the skin in order to cause controlled, accelerated skin regeneration & rejuvenation.

The mesopeel range includes a variety of peels for different skin concerns.

Before:

Due to the very 'active' nature of a skin peel, it is vital to properly prepare your skin with specific skincare products for a minimum of 2 weeks immediately before your first peel. This is important in order to ensure that the skin is in optimum condition to tolerate a peel, i.e. a healthy skin barrier & well hydrated, but it will also maximise the benefits of the peel and minimise any downtime. The prep products and process will be clearly explained to you at your consultation.

After:

Everyone’s skin reacts differently, but generally you can expect the following:

• Immediately after treatment you can expect some redness and, depending on the peel type, it is likely that you will experience some tightness, dryness, peeling and flaking for around 3-7 days. 
• After your peel it is essential that you follow the aftercare advice given, to reduce the likelihood of any adverse reaction, to minimise downtime and to improve and extend the results achieved in clinic.

• can then be continued periodically as maintenance
